Welcome to Tayar Guide — a community where travelers help each other plan better, safer trips. This quick guide walks you through the essentials.

1. Create your account

• Tap Sign up in the top right and continue with email or social login.
• Confirm your email to unlock posting, messaging, and saves.

2. Complete your profile

• Add a photo so people recognize you.
• Set your home city and travel styles (budget, luxury, backpacking, Shabbat-focused, etc.).
• Write a short bio: who you are and how you like to travel.

3. Discover destinations and communities

• Use search to look up cities, countries, or interests (e.g., “Lisbon cafés”, “Kosher Paris”).
• Browse featured communities like Digital Nomads or Solo Female Travel.
• Follow destinations or communities to tailor your feed.

4. Join conversations

• Open any post to read tips, guides, and experiences.
• Tap Like or leave a Comment to ask questions or say thanks.
• Use Save on helpful posts to revisit them later.

5. Share your own tips and guides

• Click Create post (or Share a guide) from the header or any community page.
• Choose a post type: quick question, photo story, or step-by-step guide.
• Add a clear title, details (dates, budget, what you did), and tag the destination.
• Hit Post so the community can react, comment, and improve it.

6. Build community-powered guides

• When you post a guide, others can comment with corrections, updates, and local tips.
• Edit your guide over time as the community suggests improvements.
• Upvote the most helpful comments so new travelers see them first.

7. Messages and safety

• Use Message to chat 1:1 when you need more detail.
• Never share passwords, banking info, or sensitive personal details.
• Tap Report on any post, comment, or user that breaks our guidelines.

8. Get help and give feedback

• Visit Docs or Help for FAQs and to contact us.
• Use Send feedback to suggest new features or improvements.
• The best way to help the community is to share honest, up-to-date information from your trips.
